Just came back from company BBQ.
Had an unique BBQ, in my boss's gigantic condo.
The pit was nice too~ but somehow the BBQ lacked something.
Knew a few people who was attached to the lab before us.
One was a JC guy who is in NS now.
N he said we are a lot older than him.. Hm, where got, only 2 yrs lor, wth.
But he sounded clever and with lots of potential.
He: So why did u guys choose bio?
Everyone *shrugs
He: U guys are a lot older than me, how come u all dunno what u all want? I chose bio because I excel in it and it is the better science to study out of the 3 because we are looking at life.
Sharon: But there is a lot of things to memorise for exams.
He: Not really, for certain topics yes, but not all (can't rmb the exact words)
Then he advised us to read research papers and mingle with the lab people more.
We were debating if he was from JC or poly during the ride back home and concluded he was from HCJC cos Sharon saw his stuff in the com. Haiz~ wth, JC bio is like so much easier, of course no memory work la, chey~~
But then, he is really wise~ advising the "seniors". Find interest even in the most boring job~ =.=|||
The other gal was from bs second batch. Haha, v funny gal~ Clicked well with her.
Took lots of pics. N it rained halfway, luckily we finished our BBQ.
