A great student in everything except Defense Against the Dark Arts.How you met:You were on your way to Care of Magical Creatures, your favorite class, when you realized you didn't have your assignment. You rushed back to your dorm and after ten minutes of searching you still couldn't find the paper. You give up and decide to go to class and tell Hagrid what happened. When you arrive at Hagrid's hut he is already collecting the work, when he gets to you you explain your predicament. He is sympathetic and gives you until next class to have it in. After class it is time for lunch. You finish early and decide to head to the library to get started on the paper. As you are pulling out your quill you realize someone is behind you. You turn around and see Harry standing the holing a piece of parchment. He hands it to you, "I found this in the common room just now, and I thought you might want it." You smiled, "Thank you. You just saved me from rewriting this thing." When you were done packing your stuff back into your bag you walked with Harry back to the common room. Harry whispers the password and you both wander to empty chairs. You decide to get an early start on studying for your Defense Against the Dark Arts test. Being as you're kind of crap at D.A.D.A. you ask Harry to help you. He gladly accepts and soon you are deep in conversation. A conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with Defense Against the Dark Arts. After a while you realize that your free time is up and it's time for dinner. You and Harry walk to the dining hall together, as you are about to go sit with you friends Harry grabs your arm. "I was wondering..." He paused. "What?" You inquired. "I was wondering if you would go to the ball with me." You blush, "I would love to go to the dance with you Harry." He smiled and said goodbye as you walked over to tell you friends to good news.The Ball:Your Dress:
How It Went:Your dress arrived at 6 p.m. giving you two hours to get ready. You spent the first hour on your hair and then moved to makeup. When you were satisfied you changed into your dress. You put your shoes on and were ready with 10 minutes to spare. You looked at yourself in the mirror and decided to go. You met Harry in the common room where he promptly told you how good you looked. He escorted you the dining hall where the dance was being held. You danced a couple songs before you sought out your group of friends. You had so much fun that you didn't realize the dance hall emptying. At 12:30 a.m. you and Harry pulled yourselves away from the dance floor. You discussed how everyone looked and how much fun you had all the way to the common room. You stopped at the bottom of the stairs to say the final goodbyes. "I had a rally great time tonight." You said with a smile. "I'm glad you did. I don't think I would have had this much fun with anyone else." He smiled back at you. You leaned in and gave him a light kiss. "Goodnight." You pulled away and stairs. You took awhile to fall asleep. The night kept running through your head.Afterwards:The next day you were sitting in the library trying to actually study for your Defense Against the Dark Arts test when a note landed on your book. " _______, meet me in the common room after lunch I have something to ask you. ~Harry." You looked at the clock, five minutes until lunch. You packed your things and walked down to lunch wondering what Harry wanted to ask you. You ate slowly and walked up to the common room. Harry was already there when you came through the picture. "Hi," He said nervously. "What is it you wanted to ask me?" You inquired. "I wanted to know if you maybe wanted to be my girlfriend." He blushed. "I would love to." You said pulling him in to a hug. "Great." He said with a huge smile. He leaned down and gave you a kiss. You and Harry have been inseparable ever since.
